It was a battle between Colorado and New York, and Denver-based AC couldn't be happier that the Mile High City won the duel.

Content Producer Sam Dewitt broke the news on AC early this morning: Denver to Host 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Sam writes: "According to the Denver convention website, Boston saw an economic benefit of $163.2 Million when it hosted the 2004 convention. It is estimated that Denver would reap $150-200 Million in economic benefits."
