In late September, AC's Stephen Sullivan received Wall Street Journal mention for his article on the Vintage Base Ball Federation. New Content Producer Gary O'Maxfield disagrees with Sullivan's article and sets the record straight in Historically Accurate Base Ball?

Vintage Base Ball attempts to replicate the 19th century version of the sport. According to both Content Producers, neither of the two organizing leagues play historically accurate baseball. It is also clear that neither lack devoted players and advocates. To quote O'Maxfield: "When passion runs deep, truth becomes disposable."
