Last month, former Major Leaguer Jim Bouton created the Vintage Base Ball Federation (VBBF).Content Producer Stephen Sullivan has been playing vintage baseball since 1994, and quipped about Bouton's league in Debunking the Vintage Base Ball Federation.
This Saturday, Stephen's article was mentioned by the Wall Street Journal. WSJ's Stephen Barbara wrote: Stephen Sullivan, a member of the Vintage Base Ball Association, recently published a scornful article on the VBBF for the Web site Associated Content. The cause of his discontent? Gloves. "The Vintage Base Ball Federation will be using gloves, gloves were not used in the 19th century and those who did use them were considered 'Unmanly."
